KICKOFF EVENT SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 3-5:30pm @ THE CINEMAT

BLOOMINGTON, IN -- 22 SEPTEMBER 2007

The Vote for Volan campaign is holding its first campaign event Sunday, September 30 from 3 to 5:30pm in The Cinemat Screening Room.

The event is both a fundraiser and a voter-registration drive. Everyone is welcome. No donation is expected.

A variety of food and drink will be served, including bottled beers and soft drinks as well as Greek desserts such as Steve's mom's famous homemade cookies which made such an impression in 2003.

"My dad has started calling my mom the 'Keebler elf,'" said Steve. "She's baked like crazy."

The Cinemat is located at 4th and Walnut Streets, one block south of the Courthouse Square in downtown Bloomington. (Ironically, plenty of parking will be available at that day and time all around 4th and Walnut.)
