Vote for Volan

October 30, 2007 -- Two video segments for your consideration of the candidates. One is a candidate statement provided by Community Access Television Services (CATS), the public-access service:

The other from the local daily newspaper, The Herald Times. In response to complaints in previous years about the obscurity of their endorsement process, the Herald-Times not only has videotaped their hour-long endorsement interviews with candidates, but has posted the entire raw footage of those interviews on their Elections 2007 page -- an excellent action for which the H-T is to be commended.

I think Marge will agree with me that our interview went 11 minutes over schedule because we were both so happy to have enough time to answer questions substantively, unlike the other forums during this election cycle. I'll go farther and say I prefer this interview to all the other interviews, questionnaires and forums that I've participated in this cycle.
